There are many like it, but this one is ours. Our Fire Axe Scabbard Friction Swivel brings adjustable tension to a familiar, compact footprint—giving you control over how freely your axe moves.
All-stainless-steel construction
Overall plate size: 3" × 3"
Mounting pattern: 2.55" × 2.55"
Leather Belt Pass Thru: .33" Gap on both sides (Where belt is clamped to swivel)
TIG-welded nuts: Prevent nuts from spinning during removal and reinstallation
Adjustable Friction: Add or remove friction with the use of 1 socket wrench
What makes it different?
Adjust the friction to your preference with a single socket wrench. Tighten it for more resistance or loosen it for easier movement—even while wearing your belt, provided you've poked a hole in your leather belt for access to the adjustment nut in center of swivel.
As components wear and the swivel begins to move more freely, you can readjust the tension to maintain the resistance you prefer.

While Installing- DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FORCE ANY TIGHT SCREWS. We hand assemble the swivels to be sure all threads are good. If a screw is hard to tighten STOP and check you haven't crossed threads, if issue persists reach out to us.
